Stationhouse Nursery, part of the Family First Nursery Group offers the highest quality childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Our toddler room has been purposefully designed to provide a warm, homely, happy, and stimulating environment. Children in this room love to explore a wide variety of open-ended resources that stimulate their imagination and problem-solving abilities. The space is carefully thought out so children can freely investigate their surroundings and activities. Sensory activities are really popular, whether it is painting on a large scale or making their lemon-scented playdough together. Toddlers are innately curious about their environment and the people around them, and our team is passionate about providing them with exciting and inquisitive learning experiences.

Our dedicated toddler experts act as play partners to help foster positive relationships between children, rapidly developing their social skills. They work closely with the children to help broaden their vocabulary and develop communication skills through singing, funny rhymes, and stories. Some children start potty training at this age, and our team is on hand to offer advice to parents as needed. Most children will still have a nap after lunch, during which we ensure the room is softly lit and gentle music is played to aid restful sleep and a much-needed recharging of batteries!
